Bookings are now open for the National Infrastructure Planning Association’s annual conference on Wednesday 26th June 2019.
Our conference is a key annual event with cutting-edge thinking from leading experts in the Planning Act regime. You’ll benefit from the discussion of current issues by our speakers – who are involved in nationally significant infrastructure projects.
Our speakers will include representatives of MHCLG, the Planning Inspectorate and the National Infrastructure Commission.
The day will include great networking opportunities, lunch, afternoon tea and refreshments. It’s the ideal forum for both promoters and those involved with NSIP proposals. Sponsorship opportunities available below.
This year’s programme provides both a comprehensive update of DCO practice – including recently consented schemes and those in the pipeline, and an update from the Planning Inspectorate – and a detailed review of imminent and possible policy changes, including those in the proposed Environment Bill and those being considered by the Labour Party. We will examine the implications of the ageing suite of energy National Policy Statements, progress with the Government’s response to last year’s National Infrastructure Assessment and the position regarding the Cambridge/Milton Keynes/Oxford arc. We will also discuss in detail the outcome of NIPA’s Insights II initiative and how the practical recommendations arising can best be put into practice.
Be part of the infrastructure planning community and book today.
The Final Programme will be available in due course.
Thank you to Clifford Chance for again hosting the conference.
